I grew up in Bihar, where ambition isn't ambient - it's a choice you make deliberately, against the grain, without much of an ecosystem behind you. That upbringing shapes how I think about business and capital: What does a business actually do to earn its returns? What does risk feel like when the downside is personal, not theoretical? These are the questions I find myself returning to.

Small Town Capital is where I work through those questions in public. Finance and strategy, mostly - with the occasional detour into tennis, which teaches me things that clasrooms never could.
